Camp Assistant
We are looking for teen volunteers to help assist staff during our summer camp 2022! Here, volunteers will be working with animals, plant life and children.

This is a unique and fun opportunity for great animal and childcare experience!

We get to know every volunteer personally and are willing to write letter of recommendations.
Event Assistant
We are looking for volunteers to help assist staff during our on sanctuary events!
Here, volunteers will be working with animals, children, running entertainment booths, decorating the farm, and setting up activities for big farm events.

General Farm and Barn Work
Typical volunteer activities include cleaning barns, enclosures and coops.
Other cleaning duties may include organizing areas, weeding, feeding animals etc.
Many of the animals will visit you while you complete your tasks but please remember that some tasks might not include animal interaction. Volunteering is physical work - so expect to get a good workout!

Our new volunteer program launching in Jan. 2024 will incorporate a level system to properly gauge tasks.
Storm Preppers
Sign up to be on an on call list to help us prepare for impending weather emergencies.
​
Storm Prep volunteers assist us with putting animals in their houses, feeding animals, getting jackets/sweaters on animals, outdoor equipment in safe space, etc.
​
Storm prep can also include making sure all animals receive their medicine and pro/prebiotics.
